Attention should be paid to the following when using the motor:

1. No no-load starting is allowed.

2. The cooling air should not contain explosive gases.

3. The motor can operate normally at 1.1 to 0.75 times the rated nominal voltage.

4. The maximum working current of the motor is 3 times the rated current, with an allowable time of 1 minute (30 seconds for both forward and reverse directions), and its output torque is 4.5 times the rated torque.

2、 There are four inspection windows at the commutator end of the rail car motor for checking and maintaining the commutator and replacing the electric brush. There are four evenly distributed magnetic poles in the machine base, and the magnetic pole coils are made of F-grade insulated copper wire and soaked in F-grade insulated paint. Users are not allowed to disassemble the adjusted stator components without authorization. The neutral position of the electric brush has been adjusted on the factory test bench, and users are not allowed to disassemble or adjust it at will. The following should be noted in daily life:

1. Check whether the armature rotates flexibly and whether there is any virtual rubbing phenomenon.

2. Check if the connection of the motor output (or terminal) is correct and secure.

3. The electric brush should slide freely inside the brush holder box. The pressure of the constant voltage spring borne by the electric brush should be normal, the running in area of the electric brush should not be less than 80%, and the use time of the electric brush should be replaced according to the wear of the electric brush.

4. Check if the commutator is clean, and if necessary, use a soft and lint free clean white cloth to clean the small grooves between the commutator and the carbon powder on the commutator surface. If there is grease on the surface, a white cloth dipped in alcohol can be used to wipe it off (when parking).

5. Check if all fasteners are securely fastened.

6. Regularly brush off the mud, sand, and other attachments on the casing to avoid affecting its heat dissipation.
